Working with Mexico’s National Institute of Public Health to Improve Childhood Nutrition

The importance of sound maternal and childhood nutrition in the first 1,000 days after a child’s conception has become widely recognized. In Mexico, the National Institute of Public Health has started a campaign to stress this concept to its network of doctors and nurses.

I recently had a wonderful opportunity to work with the Institute producing a video that highlights the importance of breastfeeding and a healthy childhood diet in preventing obesity and malnutrition later in life.
