Midwives and the Media

Today at the 2021 global Conference of the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM), I had the wonderful opportunity to participate in a panel titled "Midwives and the Media" that featured journalists committed to covering maternal health and sexual and reproductive health issues. During the panel discussion, we explored prominent industry stories from the past year and how storytelling can be used as a vehicle for change and policy reform - With distinguished colleagues Sarah Austin Jenness, Janet Mbugua, and Lynzy Billing.
